Best universities to study Education and Training

Teaching is one of the most rewarding professions. As you enter a profession that can impact the lives of others, you’ll face a myriad of challenges where you’ll be able to learn and grow from as an educator or teacher. Universities in Australia offer a solid foundation in their education and training courses. This would include industry experience, leadership programs and other extensive practical work.  

There are over 300 undergraduate degrees in education and training listed on The Good Universities Guide course search. We looked at which ones performed best in skill teaching quality, graduate salary and full-time employment.  

Teaching Quality

This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the skill development they experienced through their studies. The top spot goes to The University of Notre Dame Australia with 91.7% satisfaction rate with Edith Cowan University (ECU) neck and neck with 91.1%.  

Graduate Salary

This rating compares the median salary of graduates from different universities. Murdoch University placed highest with a median graduate salary of $66,700, followed very closely by Edith Cowan University (ECU) with $66,500.    

Full-time employment

This rating compares the employment rates of graduates of undergraduate degrees from different universities. It looks at the proportion of graduates who were employed full time four months after completing their course. First place goes to Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with 92%, and second goes to James Cook University with 90.7%
